Veteran’s Day

During Veteran’s Day week, students and staff at Goodrell had the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities. On Wednesday, students and staff moved through different stations giving information on Veteran’s Day, the USS Iowa, and even how to properly fold a flag. Student Ambassadors from East joined us during the rotations. We ended with a whole school assembly to reflect on the day. Thursday night was a spaghetti dinner open to all with donations going to the USS Iowa restoration. Friday morning students and staff were invited to join in on a Meet at the Pole before school.
