Walk to School Day
On Wednesday, October 4, almost 100 kids and staff members, as well as members of the community, participated in the 17th annual International Walk to School Day put on by Pro-Motion Kids and Fuel Up to Play 60! We had a member of the Des Moines Police Department come speak about how to be safe walking tactics. The participants enjoyed granola bars and AE milk to get the day off right! Here at Goodrell, we are all about promoting the healthy choices to make our kids well in both body and mind.
