  • Spend a minimum of 15 hours to complete the tasks listed above
  • Document planning and action in the Process Journal


  • Support with project selection, process journal and action
  • Support students with academic honesty
  • Attend the Community Project Inquiry Event @ Goodrell Middle School on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM (Open House style- come and explore!)
  • Attend CP Exhibition : Monday, May 4, 2020 from 4:00-6:00 PM (Monday, December 16, 2019 is CANCELLED)


  • Approximately 6-8 weeks of work time
  • Project Coach (GMS staff member) will pull students throughout the project to check in, guide, and support
  • Students will be introduced to Community Project during Pride Time at the beginning of September


  • Students will be given the choice to complete their project during the first semester or second semester
  • Students can choose to do their project on their own or with a partner (no more than 3 students in a group)

  • Students already completing service outside of school can use that service and expand on it
